Audi 400 Revealed!

Bill arrived safely from Florida with our race car...and here it is!

Oh dear.

According to a sticker emblazoned across the rear windshield, this car claims to have once attended the University of Delaware. It also seems to be declaring some sort of sporting aspiration by wearing a single alloy "teardrop" wheel from a Volkswagen GTI 16V. But this is no smart, sporty car. No. It is unencumbered with frivolous niceties like doorhandles, lights, or...a motor. It is literally held together with tape and bits of rope.

The truth is that this car looks exactly like a what a LeMons race car should look like, except for the part about the motor. That's a problem. Even dealing in the world of $500 beaters, rule number one is to start with a running car. So, after much wailing and gnashing of teeth, we have abandoned the idea of running the Audi 400(0) and have selected another car, which I will reveal next week.
