Bill Fluhr, our man in Florida, sent us our first photo of the car. Bill is preparing it for the 1200 mile journey to Texas next week.
Why bother covering a $100 car? Several reasons. Just like a wild animal, the Audi 400 is more calm when it is blindfolded. Also, it keeps away the prying eyes of our competition. No point in revealing our secrets of speed any sooner than we have to. Finally, Bill mumbled something about his HOA and "liking where he lived" or something of that nature.
As long as something disastrous doesn't happen en route (like the last 4000 Bill drove to Texas), we should get our first look at the car late next week.
